The jet mode is quite close to de art concept imo. The robot mode is so good that I really don't need to invest on the 3A´s Megatron.

 

OK I hunk I understand what you’re trying to say a little better now. It just seemed like you were saying that 3P wasn’t doing bayformers justice and Hasbro was which doesn’t make sense considering how much better all of UT’s stuff has been than Hasbro.

If they redo this design it’ll be a long time from now. Only TLK stuff that has been announced has been repaints so far. Yet another reason to get UT figures.

Well what im trying to say is that 3rd party can make any line of characters better than Hasbro for a price. But unfortunately that price is getting played out. I liked 3rd party figures to fill holes in my Hasbro collection, not replace my Hasbro collection.

 

I love the look of this. I just wish a company would do some to this degree on another character. Not something that we already have a decent 1 of for the moment atleast.

 

I think that this Megatron goes a lot better together with the newer style of transformers from the bumblebee movie. So I think I'll be getting this Megatron instead of the mpm one. Plus this one seems less expensive over all. Ill be getting either the eventual dropkick or shatter to pair with my current mpm 2007 bee, cause I don't have enough money for both of them so this figure should fit right in with that style.

As a person who actually liked The Last Knight I am very excited for this figure

 

Pre ordered at TF Direct. This is starting to become a yearly tradition 2017 Peru Kill, 2018 Challenger and hopefully 2019 Dragoon

 

And now with this new head for prime, it fixes one of the two major issues, which is the head and the neck of challenger. I can fix the neck now that the head is fixed, which is perfect! Looks like I’m in for both of these then

 

Probably being a little hopeful here but seeing as we got his knife with Challenger I’m hoping that maybe we can get Peru Kill’s spark extractor with Dragoon, would pretty much make him complete in terms of weapons

Now this, THIS is the Megatron that I've been hoping and waiting for!

I always felt that TLK Megatron is the cinematic reincarnation of classic G1 Megatron. Especially with the fusion cannon mounted on his left arm and that he was voice by none other than Frank Welker himself.

His Hasbro and Takara figures (and their KOs) didn't cut it for me. Fusion cannon on the voyagers to small, fusion cannon on the leaders to big.

Dragoon is absolutely and positively the best and most screen-accurate action figure representation of TLK Megatron from head to toe!

The fusion cannon is rightfully sized and even the power cable/hose for the cannon (circled in this concept art piece) is perfectly duplicated.


The designers and engineers at UT are either Tony Stark type geniuses or Supernatural type witches!

Dragoon is definitely on my wish list! Hope he's KO'ed so that I can repaint it in Megatron's G1 color scheme.
