Got mine. Really nice heft. Voyager sized and engineering. If you'd consider that a Takara voyager would be able $50, this dude is just a bit over that. Pretty simple transformation, doesn't lock together perfectly. Enjoyable, but not uber Cy-Kill-y. If you can get him for $70~ that's a good value. $90 I'd pass. Just a few thoughts as I attempt to hack up a lung.

Also, sand those wheel spikes. They will make you bleed.

With the GoBots news today, I decided to "look at some Salmoore reviews."

I was fooling myself. All it took was one good review. In the cart.

Can't wait to play with Salmoore myself! I'm watching Challenge of the GoBots to get in the right mindset. Man, Cy-Kill's voice actor chews scenery with the best of 'em.

    EDIT:
What brand and color of paint did you use? Looks pretty perfect, and I'd love to do something similar when I get mine.

They're doing Crasher from the MP Mirage mold they made.

EDIT: Actually not UT, but DX9, but I think they share designers.

I think that may be dead in the water. Mirage came out months ago now, and the "Crasher/Fracture" redeco has been silent for way too long at this point.

I recently started getting into figures again after a loooong time, and ordered several. Salmoore was the first to arrive, received him today. Here's my situation:

Some main joints are loose - leg won't hold pose, torso just falls back causing him to fall over, one of the extensions in the exhaust is loose and just falls in and out (won't stay in place), etc. Is this normal, given the cost of toys today, do joints and accessories on figures ship this loose? Should I use this future polish to tighten him up or send him back?

Yeah, that sounds pretty par for the course. Yours may be a bit worse than normal, but i'd just try tightening him up, and if that doesn't work, send him back.

Since he is newly back in he may not know what to do to tighten them. I've never really done it so would someone else chime in explaining it. I have a general idea, but don't think I would explain it correctly.

The hips on mine are looser than I'd like. But it's nothing that annoys me enough to take it back.

That's a great deal if you're into it. I wish I'd gotten him at that price!

Wonder if there's any possibility of the Wreck-gar DX9 made from this mold going on sale, then?

I'm still waiting for Bandai to follow up on their Machine Robo tease at the beginning of the year. This guy looks great, but he's gonna be so lonely without a Leader-1 to fight.

I went ahead and bought him last Black Friday-ish time frame when he was $70. I had this inkling that he would go lower someday, and here it is. But I would say, at $70 he is a great figure. So definitely at $60.
