I was trying to find a shot of the rest of this team and came across this pic of Blast Off, which I hadn't seen before. Looks like it came from @daimchoc on his Twitter; if he's previously posted it in this thread I missed it. Anyway, all credit goes to him, and enjoy. I think he looks great but really want to see him in color. Not sure what's up with his left foot, though.

 

If this is the Unique Toys figure, cool. On the foot, I'd bet it can be both ways?

 

Yes, this was posted a while back, and they wanted to show he can have both feet configuration, for those whining about normal feel vs G1.

 

Ok, sorry to duplicate posts. I've been pretty active in this thread so I must have seen it and forgotten it somehow. I like having two options for the feet, that's a treat. I was thinking about going in on Zeta's set also just for combined mode but the more I see of this team the less necessary it feels. I may take that money and invest in UT's Ordin set instead.

 

I am really torn on this set. I really do like the look of the bot and alt modes better than zeta. However, I know this likely going to spend most of its life combined and I really do like the zeta combined mode look a bit better. Given the way everything played out with the v1 Constructor, I'll probably just wait this one out and see what I like better when they're done.

 

I am buying Zeta as a combiner and buying 2 unique toys for my 2 favourite characters, Swindle and Onslaught, but kept in bot mode

 

i would very much like colour matched boots for swindle and brawl, and a blue to silver transformation for onslaught to bruticus torso. that plus the space shuttle chest will get my money.

 

maybe I'm a moron or I'm way too tired but I can't figure out how the hell you're getting the hip to extend

 

apparently according to Rumble619 its a ratchet manipulation thing he's going to post a step by step

 

Now if only combined mode offered that same technique lol

 

Hey guys. This is a quick step by step that I found works the easiest for my the leg extension on Brawl that Tigerblade was cool enough to share with us. I gotta warn you that this method may not work the same for everyone. Mine has slightly loose thigh rotation which allows me to do it this way.
(NOTE:THIS SAME METHOD WORKS ON SWINDLE AS WELL)

The trick is that the hip ratchet is offset a little to one side which can either lengthen or shorten the leg depending on how it's sitting.

As you see in the pic, the right side is the side that allows the leg to sit lower. What you want to do is get them both to sit like this

So here is the step by step pics

Step 1:
Simply kick the leg straight out


Step 2:
Now push out to the side like so. If the ratchet does not look the pic then you're doing it wrong



Step 3:
Rotate only at the thigh 90 degrees to the back



Step 4:
Now bring the leg down to this position.



Step 5:
Now rotate only the thigh back to the forward position and you're done!!!

I hope this helps out anyone who was confused by this. Again this method may not work for everyone's figure but at least you know what to look for. Big props again to Tigerblade for sharing the leg trick with everyone

The gap between the leg and the waist is too much for me... What it "gains" in height, is loss in aesthetics!

 

I'm torn on this myself. It's a shame they weren't just a smidge bigger from the get-go. They're still gorgeous though. I think I'm gonna need the whole set.

 

Yeah, if the whole set could have been upsized just a hair it would be perfect. Still in regardless.

Ok, so these guys did arrive today, and after fiddling with them a bit I really like them. I did decide to keep their hips in their original positions though, as they look great together as is.

 

My set finally made it to US soil at the Chicago USPS disttribution center. Here's hoping I get them on or before Saturday.

What sticker set did the logos for Brawl and Swindle come from?
Also, what did you use for the blue piece on Swindle's windshield in bot mode? I'd like to use something like that for MP Ratchet and MP10.
