Maybe UT will modify Onslaught to acomodate those 5 cm somewhere... If they added side skirts to the combine mode then they could add 5 cm more height...

 

But I'd prefer they not try to come up with an extra 5cm.

 

Unless they also manage to fill out the legs and torso a bit so it has a better silhouette, more like the Zeta version. Hell, if they need to partsform to do it, I'm fine with that too. I just want all three modes to be awesome.

 

They will try to stay competitive with the other 50 cm combiners...

His thighs are already fine, maybe they need to be a little longer... I don't think they want to partsform extra parts other than the hands and feet...

 

They're too skinny and his shoulders aren't wide enough. Combined mode is the only mode I don't like.

I'll probably still get them though, because I love the bot modes.

Edit: maybe combined mode is fine. Maybe it's actually good... I just think the Zeta version is better. But that's ALL Zeta has going for it. I think if I stop looking at Zeta combined, I'll like this one more.

 

I'd have rathered they kept it closer to Ordin in size. I think he's too big, but probably not so much that I can live with it. I think Constructor is too big, I think DX9's Menasor is too big (and has car bots that are too big), and I think that XTB's Menasor is too big and too ugly (but I'll probably buy at least the cars and keep them uncombined).

 

Yeah and ft OS is too big, should have made him 16" to go with gravity builder and combiner wars OP. The 3rd party companies should downsize all thier upcoming masterpiece figures to go with my chug collection. FT koot should be 3 inchs smaller and he would go great with my combiner wars prowl.

 

Preordered based purely on swindle and them looling distincly G1. So much so i think i will hapilly have them out uncombined. Also gonna get the xtb stunticons , and do the same with them (price helps!). Any figures that are mp scaled and look g1 I'm in.

Whole 5 cm on onslaught will be to much.
He's oversized size if they do that.
I can live with 2 cm extra in the leaders of the combiners.

But he is still getting them.  

 

Is the 45 cm to the top of the head or 45cm to the top of the shoulder pylons? Because that's a huge difference. If the height is measured to the pylons, this guy's face is going to be at stomach / lower chest on Constructor, which is frankly ridiculous for MP. However if the 45 is measured to top of the head, than maybe there's an extra 5 cm or so worth of pylons to make up the difference? He might almost be able to get away with that.

 

That's a testament to how good these guys looks to him!

 

That tends to be the case when you want masterpiece figures to fit in with your chug collection.

 

Zeta Armageddon looks better, but too much combiner only parts for my liking...  

I like Zeta Brawl too, those working treads are sexy...

 

I can live with 45 cm because their components are "properly scaled", I don't mind that my combiners have different heights, but only if their components scale to each other "correctly".

I think you are exaggerating! A combiner doesn't need to be HUGE to be MP, for me is simple... I choose one scale (MP: bot / alt mode) and I don't take mass shift into account for the final size of the combiner...

 

Personally I don't want Onslaught any bigger...he's already pushing it height-wise...if that makes Bruticus a shorty, so be it...
