They are very cool, but I'm just going to bail for now and wait until all the Bruticii are complete to see which I prefer once and for all, then just buy the one I want in one shot. Conceptually, the MMC is speaking to me the most, just have to make sure QC checks out.

OM can barely get a single figure out with decent qc, a combiner is a HUGE ask, let alone one that incorporates all the combiner kibble entirely. If it was FT or MT I'd be intrigued but MMC? Nope.

BTW I expect the overall height of UT Bruticus with the extenders will be around 19.5"(ish) to the head, obviously more with the zeta shoulders/back cannons. I'll know the exact height in the morning when I find out the exact height of the torso on it's own. My printer is just finishing off the final revision of the extensions then I'm just waiting for UT Onslaught to combine. Then it's the wait for Zeta Onslaught to finalise the second set of connectors. Chomping on the bit now!

There's a lot of talk in that thread about MMC being drunk thinking they can tackle this combiner, so tread lightly and wear hip waders.

I really liked this set so far, but won't pull the trigger until I saw the whole team in colored test shot.

Sad to hear it has floppy hip joints, but upgrade kit from 4th party are always standing by. :D

Who said it had floppy hip joints? Not being able to stay in an extreme A stance is not the same thing. I find the problem with combiners usually is front to back falling and it looks fine here considering the ballet pose he was in.

Yeah that video raised some concerns for me in that regard but I think some actual rubber pads would solve any issues. I hope you don't let that sway you, the two I have are great, and I think the set will be great too.

So you are just planning to make extentions on the existing knee joints?not replacements?Wont that make his legs a bit too long?

Not the way I've designed them. You've touched on a part of it. I'll unveil all when Onslaught arrives.

This set is looking terrific IMHO. I have stopped even looking at the Zeta offering at this point. Though I like Zeta's beefy look in combined mode he still looks "updated" and not quite G1. And individually Zeta's are not G1 at all in my book. All in with UT.
