My problem is that it isn’t an option. It’s an extreme nitpick but i prefer the look in TLK.

I meant him having options in the movie. But hey, there's nothing wrong with liking what you like.

That definitely sounds like it could be problematic on a figure this big. It's probably too far into production to change; are the joints at least tight on your sample?

If UT can paint the eyes and hands on the final product, I would be over the moon. If not, I'll least get some metallic paint for the eyes.

Can he hold the sword with two hands while having the shield on the side? (not attached to the back). I haven't seen pictures like that

He definitely looks good, janky elbows aside. I do very much like my El Cid and don't really need another AOE/TLK Optimus...buuuuut I think I might bite.

In this pic MPM4/LT's head looks far too small.

And Challenger as a whole looks far too not-in-my-hands-yet-god-damn-it.

Bite and chew. The difference between Challenger and El Cid is like heaven and hell.

@TCracker thanks so much for answering all our questions and for the pics! I have a couple myself:

Is there some transformation-based reason why the elbow can't be modded to fill in more? That pointy piece behind the bicep looks like it's SUPPOSED to swing down and cover the (very ugly) joint when he bends his elbow.

Are the heads/faces hard to swap?

Is that paint chipping on the left foot (the red part) how it came to you?

Lovely pics! Your last pic was exactly what I was looking for: the heroic stance utilizing the thigh swivels properly. :)

Do you think maybe the fingers aren't painted because the plastic is unpaintable? I see the same plastic is used for the elbow and wrist joints.
