Gave him some color
Wizardry, that's the only thing that makes sense here.
While there's no canon repaints, I keep thinking how it'd look in bright red or white...
With all of these 3rd party Leader Class Decepticons coming out, I'm gonna need more shelves to put them on.
I'm going to need more money....
Pfffft, money is over rated.
My jeans feel tighter after seeing this.
That looks pretty great. I also thought of other accessories he could come with, namely his sword/sheild and spark extractor.
I'll actually be pretty pissed if they leave out all of his other weapons just for the shitty Steeljaw that is a worse sculpt than the friggin' one-step.
I think he looks pretty cool personally.
Itty-bitty Kelsey Grammer.
Imagine how well they could make a leader class Galvatron look
OMG I'm in love
So how many movie figures does this make from 3rd parties now?
I don't collect leader-sized movie figures, but if I did... damn! Fantastic job, UT.
I'm surprised, I mean, when you look at the source material:
And you look at the prototype:
It's like a happy meal toy. I mean, really, if Hasbro put out a sculpt like that people would flip out. In fact, as I said, the actual one step has a better sculpt:
And it's a one step. It's actually kinda weird how Lockdown looks so good and the Steeljaw looks so bad.
Ah, I can see what you're talking about now.
I watched the movie once and pretty much blocked it out, so didn't realize this was so under detailed, but I do still really like it regardless.
Looks like the lower calf forms the taillights and back side panels of the lambo, so I'm assuming the knees bend forwards with the feet as door, and the body opens up to cover the top and the forearms opens for more panels to cover the rest.
Still, one of my favorite design from AOE and hopefully it comes with bother the spark extractor and hook hands.
I just wish it was A: Accurately sculpted, or B: didn't exist at all as it undoubtably drives the price up and/or takes budget away from the weapons he should come with.
I just don't see the point in a little barely accurate approximation of a bit "character" over those other qualities I listed. Maybe they'll sell a cheaper version without it.
It's not Lockdown without a hook hand at some point!
This is some next level shit. UT keeps getting outclassed in the G1 market, but if this is any indication of what they can do in other styles I'm all for them venturing into the movieverse. It looks like they avoided shell forming and the car turns inside out to make a proportional robot. Seriously this thing looks impressive.
I understand completely.
