This shows that you can do anything if you think outside the box with designing transformers. I want to see hasbro attempt the opposite of this when they get to an mpm starscreamer.

They can make the jet mostly hollow I guess?   (I laugh but that'd be the way to do it)

 

I think rather than have the jet hollow, they could fill that space with the legs so they don't stick out like on the leader. The wings would need some clever folding to bring them down to size or they will end up looking massive.

 

So, I added some color to Lockdown to see what he'd look like and try to break up the gray...

If he is proportionally off in the back, it's honestly not by much, I don't think.

 

The back is fine, it's the front that's off. It's kind of smushed, a bit like deluxe AOE crosshairs.

I wasn't going to get this guy for my personal collection as I was just going to buy a couple bots to go alongside my M01 Evasion Prime - but he does look pretty cool. I like the car mode (is he supposed to bet he same as TFM Carnage? or one of the TFM bots?) alot and while I agree the windshield looks kind of crappy, I think I could live with it.

I dont think the back should be wider than the front like it is. The front is too narrow.

 

The actual car is wider in the back than the front, though:

 

But not by as much as on the figure. The narrow front is clearly visible on the 3/4 top/side pic of the figure when its no where near that obvious on the actual car.

 

Apparently the actual car is only 4 inches shorter than Bumblebee! I thought it was a smaller car than that.

 

Meh, I've seen worse. And we're probably never going to get a better likeness of Lockdown in either form anyway, so I can deal.

Also, part of the problem could also be the angle the picture was taken at. In the other, head on view, the back doesn't look as wide.

22cm to 28(9)cm doesn't equate 22' to 28(9)' in regards to their scale with each other.

The height differences wouldn't match.

 

Scale be damned, I'm supporting this for the engineering! A bot more or less the size of MP10 compacting down to more or less a normal carbot is magic right there!
