Mine were pre-applied, but I think it might be paint? Not sure, all I know is that they were silver out of the box. Should check.

 

It’s painted so I wonder why they included stickers. I’m not bothering and besides I just bought a chrome pen so if I’m chromingn it lol

 

It’s the little things like that which make a big difference in the quality of a figure for me.

 

Props to Unique Toys - my Peru Kill arrived without his hook hand piece, so I wrote to them and asked for one. They sent me, for free, not just one hook but three. So if anyone is missing their hook hand piece, let me know and you can have one of the two extras. A class move by a great company.

If anyone is interested in additional hand options, and has Jaegertron, the hand pieces are cross-compatible.

Agree. I’m no artist lol I was just bored. Now I read that I have to wait weeks for it to cure and then clear coat it. If it dried without all the maintenance I would chrome everything. I was looking at Peru Kill wondering where it would look good lol

 

That's a good lookin chrome job. The wheels had to be a real PITA to get done. I don't think Peru Kill had any chrome parts so that would be artistic expression at its best.

 

Would pledge floor polish be a good clear coating substance?

 

For the chrome? You'll lose some of the mirror effect but it will be protected.

I'm hoping you made a good decision with that pen, cause I just ordered one for myself. I used to use a silver sharpie to color gray parts, so this should be quite a step up.

 

I was all giddy cause it looks fantastic. Apparently you have to let it set up for a few weeks then clear coat it. Lame

 

Definitely looks great but needing to let it set up for 3 weeks and clear coating it is a lot of work lol. If it set up fast and that was it then I would have done tr hot rod and a few others too

 

You can get away with a week for cure time. The longer the better though.

Yeah I'm afraid the chrome isn't durable at all. Clear coating is needed. I added a link to the molotow chrome markers thread in my signature. You should check it out.
