I thought we determined that the Constructicon we've seen is supposed to be Devastator's right shoulder. What happened to that? I've got that as the right shoulder, a wheel loader as the right arm, an articulated dump truck as the left shoulder, a truss crane (probably the "drone" without a robot mode) as the left arm, the cement mixer as the torso, a dump truck as the right leg, and a bulldozer as the left leg. I can't remember exactly where that info came from, but it was supposed to be a reliable source as I recall.
Well...Legends Prime is in perfect scale! Here's a scary thought. The thing Prime jumped on at the end was nearly 50ft tall (Prime is 28ft tall for reference). If the front wheel is bigger than Prime and that robot only makes up a shoulder on Dev. Then just how tall will the complete Dev be? I've heard the completed Dev toy is 2ft tall.
someone post a link of video screen capturing software that i can download and capture a few screens of this thing....
It's the same guy as the leaked toy. Here is one of the images of the real vehicle. (the one on the right) Now here's the bot seen in the trailer. If you look on at the left of the tire you can see part of the alt mode.
I'm pretty sure the number of bots in Devastator were confirmed a LONG time ago. And this deffinately is not Devastator, as he's clearly one vehicle and does not have the highly talked-about mixing barrel on his chest. Rememebr, it's rumoured that the Autobots go to China.
My thought is that Devastator perhaps doesn't combine all at once like we've seen in the past. From the look of the size and parts of the big roller con at the end, perhaps Devastator slowly builds together over several scenes where the constructicons meet up one by one and keep adding to the mass until they are all finally together. The Roller con is just way too big even for that size of vehicle....and you can see the crane is on his arm. Maybe this is 2 or 3 constructicons together, and the rest are on the way to merge.
So if they go to China.... Maybe they'll have to fight a group of cheap Chinese knock-off Transformers!.... lol
On second thought, actually, watching it for like the 20th time the Constructicon isn't THAT big...you can see once Prime latches on to his head that it's really just his arms that are so huge....I mean, sure, he's huge, just not as big as I thought at first. Maybe part of it is Bay using a far distance cam on the shot instead of the uberclose shots of the first.
Dude, are you serious???!!! Did you even SEE the thread from a while back about the toy - one of the pictures has the treads transformed in to the wheels (granted it's not transformed right the wheels need to be turned toward the inside). If you go back to the pictures of the toys and you compare them they are exactly the same - even teh color scheme (in the trailer) is identical to the toy!!
I was thinking about this after seeing the trailer again, and i am starting to think this may be the case
Steam Shovel, give your head a shake. It's an EXCAVATOR Steam Shovel??? Give your head a shake. It's an EXCAVATOR, get it !!! Are you guys stuck in the 1920's?
