Just for fun, do you like more Unicron or Primus or both? And please say why did you choose? I prefer both of them, because they present chaos and order, you can say brothers but yet so different... Anyways it is interesting in many aspects (including planet eating and creation of 13 Transformers from Primus).
Unicron. Unicron can just simply eat and devour Primus. I mean isn't that what he wanted to accomplish in the 86's movie.....too bad they didn't think of primus by that. T-T
Unicron. For some reason I've always preferred evil. That and he has had more characterization both in the comics and cartoons. Just can't beat having Orson Welles as his va.
Yeah, Primus is always sleeping, and for the 'light' god he just seems a bit mean. Therefore I choose Unicron. Pure evil and capable of making good on his intent (apart from when the Matrix is involved...)
Another vote for Unicron. Primus seemed like a bit of a dick in the Marvel comics, even Optimus didn't like him that much.
I don't care for physical gods. So I would prefer to keep the origin of Unicron secret and merely have the Transformers believe him to be a devil. And I would like Primus to be their god but never actually be shown, like real world gods.
Unicron, but only in that he's a supreme cosmic force, entropy personified. I like to apply a few of my own thoughts on the pair whenever I consider them, mostly the whole "beyond good, beyond evil" ideology of deity-class characters. That said, Unicron and his dedication to destruction and chaos just seems more interesting. Especially if you consider his choice in heralds and servants includes some of the most interesting Transformers ever, and in Armada he even went as far as outright stating that he would exist so long as there was hatred in the universe. Plus when he did finally die in that continuity, his collapse created a vast black hole that threatened all creation. Which makes you wonder - was Unicron truly destroyed, or did he just manage to transform into a new, more devastating form capable of consuming the cosmos and spreading chaos?
Primus for creating Cybertron, the 13, the Matrix, Vector Sigma, the Allspark and Energon, as well as having the better toy (shame we never got Cybertron Ark toys). Plus none of Unicron's dialogue ever match Primus's three page message to Optimus in Exodus.
Well, in most continuities, Primus -isn't- ever seen by his people. It wasn't until Octopunch woke Primus up with a shot to the head that most Transformers in G1 even realized he wasn't a myth. And in other continuities, like Beast Wars, his people are aware he exists, but they don't ever go visit him or anything.
That is one tough question to answer, but it is really great thought and especially what you said about heralds and servants. I will just speculate on your question, let we say that he never could be destroyed and he constantly (as you said on the next line) transforms into more devastating form, but Im asking myself then "How this form (devastating) will look?"
Primus never seems to actually wake up. So, I go with Unicron. He's massive and can lay the ultimate smackdown on Primus.
I like them equally. The 1986 Movie should've ended with the Matrix waking Primus up, him transforming and duking it out with Unicron.
I like Primus the most out of the two but Unicron has my respect. I gotta give it up to any bot that rocks metal facial "hair".
The chaos bringer, Unicron... just pure dedication to the destruction of each universe. Who wouldn't love that!
