If it turns out well enough and doesn't kill me in the process, I might do a Prowl. No real interest for 'Streak.

I've been working out most of the engineering, but I'll need to find a good way to make pins. He will keep most of the original transformation mixed with a bit of Universe. I'm using engineering ideas mostly from the Alternators.

 

Right, major procrastination going on here. With a week left of my vacation, I finally started working on this. Until today I've basically only made a broken Unicron. I'm still thinking about some of the engineering but in theory most of it should work, although I will have to use some slight partsforming for his front wheels in any case.

I was reluctant to start on the head since I've never done much scratch building, but then I figured that if I finish that I'll have the hard part done.

So, some progress!



I'm making a rather simple sculpt of his head, mostly based on the original G1 one. For the mouth, I'm thinking a light brush with a hot soldering iron, but I'll need to do many test runs first so I don't ruin it...

I will be switching out the original led to light his eyes but the Unicron head will be mostly gone, only the back piece and the neck will be used.

As far as the mouth goes, I would just use a little putty to build the area up.
