Unicron is coming to Earth and all the IDW-verse will be there for the endgame.

 

If you think about this kind of has to serve as a finale to the IDW Joes as well, what with them being the second biggest of the bunch here.

So their might be an underlying element for them here.

Of course the Transformers are still very much front and center, everyone else is a guest star.

 

Seeing Rhinox and Beast Megatron really makes me wish they'd be more major characters and not simply as cameos.

 

Yeah, if this wasn't a shares Universe, there would probably still be a page in the issue where the world governments and military get together.

But becuase it is a shared Universe, the military are GI Joe and they're inside Trypticon and one of the two half Cybertronians who can stop Unicron also have an original member of the 70's GI Joe Action Team in his brain.

It's great. You should read Revolutionaries. I think it'll help you get more out of Unicron

Not too fussed about GI Joe but nice to see some of the Revolutionaries in that crowd. Wonder where Mayday and Skywarp are and hope Ian gets a panel of thoughts to Kup. I realize there are bigger things going on, but one panel. Doesn't even have to be the focus. Just have him looking at a picture in the background or mention him just before the death I don't want him to have.

 

No that's good hopefully some of those annoying humans can die off.

Nice. Perfect timing for a quirky tagline to excuse your dialogue’s lack of clarity Barbs. Totally doesn’t suck the tension right out of the scene. Glad to see you’re taking this event seriously.

Also fuck Thundercracker. Christ, his entire character is just having a dog and movies. He hasn’t developed at all, even when the end of the world is occuring.

 

I mean, yeah I found it fun comic relief.

And I also like Thundercracker and appreciate that they show him active and saving lives unprompted.

 

Barber has really fumbled the writing this year. "The Falling" was a mess and Unicron is..... kinda boring.
