    Man, a hundred years ago, I bet they said this would be impossible.

    Now can they pursue the brain/head (or full-body, depending on who you talk to) transplant stuff?

    This is pretty cool, actually. I'd love to see where this can go.

    Fascinating. Although I know they'd never try it, because of all the different morality debates, I'd love to see what would happen if they used human brain cells.

    There seems to be great potential for eventually creating some sort of android with this technology. Imagine something with the strength and durability of a robot possessing the intelligence and creativity of a living being. That would be incredible.

    Awesome. Now the real question is, when will I be able to troopbuild these?

    My ultimate death wish isn't really death wish. I hope to transplant my brain into a working Tranformers body.

    I don't get that (I am pretty drunk), and I don't like spiders.

    Incidentally, why are we both on here at half four in the morning? I'm off to bed now.

    I'd rather not say.

    I assumed you were referencing the rat-bat-spider thing from (IIRC) 'The Angry Red Planey'

    I don't see why this science is being called 'unholy'. It's an amazing development - terminally ill patients could have their lifespans prolonged by transferring their brains into android bodies.

    Funny, I had this conversation of the possibilities of this technology with a friend last night.

    They can make artificial limbs and hands/fingers be controlled by our nerves, why not the whole thing?

    I think it is entirely possible, and I wonder to think what has been tried that we haven't seen.

    Squirrelcar = my hero.

    Seriously, though, "they" probably said this would be impossible last month.
