Well, I am not sure how many there are/will be to warrant this thread, and I didnt see an exsisting, so feel free to merge/delete as neccessary.

I know for sure of the love with Wreckage, and that his swords combine and can go on his arm as a spinning blade of doom.

    Any others?

Starscreams little tan arm tabs, CC BB's gun, though obvious, is not in the instructions, as they only agknowledge the blade.

Megatron's whip and proper fusion cannon assembly.

    Just to name a few.

does anyone have any detailed pics of the proper fusion cannon assembly? and is the whip suppose to launch or the tab just release it so it can manually be pulled out.

I'm pretty sure it's just supposed to be manually pulled out. We had a kid pitch a fit at TRU the other day cause of that. We even opened another one to show the mom it wasn't a defect

It is supposed to launch, the Tak/Tomy version launches, but for so reason, the spring is missing from the Hasbro version.

I think it was originally designed to launch out (If you take the arm apart, it seems designed to work with a spring, and if you transplant the spring from the gun arm it works very well), but with the claw-fingers being kinda pointy I suspect it was taken out for safety reasons.

Anyone remember those Allspark party favors? Dismantle one into a smaller Allspark (1/8 of the original) and the cube fits behind '08 Bee's head.

It doesn't, as the panel that would hold it is meant to flip down.

Barricade has some little tabs on his feet that will flip up. They're not mentioned in the instructions and I've heard several people on the boards say they are supposed to be up in bot mode to make him look more spikey. This is incorrect. They are actually at the perfect length and angle to support the car mode. If you flip them up before transforming, they hold the feet at the right position to keep the back end of the car from feeling so fiddly.

That is incorrect, they are obviously meant to replicate the exact same spikes he has in the movie. However, I found that they actually hinder the car mode locking right, they push off the knees and pulle the bottom of the car down, leaving them flipped down allows you to push the feet back up and have the car mode sit more flush.

Fold the hands over and peg them in place (like you would for vehicle mode). The left hand has a clip that locks onto one of the finger hinges on the right hand. Swing the fusion cannon into place. It's on a slider, so push it over so that it's centered between the two arms. That's that.

If you want the cannon to be able to stay extended, open it up and remove the spring (it might be a little floppy, so just apply a tiny bit of superglue along the sliding track to add some friction). As an added bonus, you can put that spring in the right arm so that the claw launches.

    yup yup.

    Also..

Classic camaro Bumblebee can hold his launchers under his fore arms, making a semi-automorph movie looking gun. there is a hole right below the elbow that the launcher fits in.

Well, on my Barricade, his back end does line up better with the spikes up. They don't actually hit the knee. They hit his shin just behind the knee and it does add stability to the car mode. At least on mine anyway. Maybe we're doing it differently. As for those CGI renders, ok. One part of the toy matches. Considering the rest of the toy matching ( like the crooked hood ) isn't doable with the toy, it's not that big of a deal. I guess one can leave them up for both modes.
