That's a question I've been asking myself every time I see an add for it.

I rather liked the first one. Action movie + Werewolves vs. Vampires + Kate Beckinsale in tight leather = Good Fun, ha!

 

I'm going to catch it just for the were wolves. I was kind of disappointed with the were wolves in the first one...I expected the wolves to er, have more fur. I'm just going to watch it for the action and nothing else...mindless entertainment...

Theater folk and thier friends get to see the movies after hours, usualy the day before or so before release, as they get the film early so they can put it together (build) it and preview it to make sure it will play correctly. I know this because I was once a projectionist at a movie theater.

 

Even without a free ticket from the Best Buy promotion (which was a pain in the ass to finally get BTW), I'd go see it. Kate in those pants is just beautiful   I can't imagine how nice it would be to see her without them...

Ahem... On a serious note, the first one was made for $25 million and looked pretty good for that budget. Story was iffy and action was not what most people wanted (i.e., balls-out vamp vs. wolf action). Even Van Helsing had more vamp vs. wolf toe-to-toe. But this new one looks to have a budget upgrade and from what I've seen so far, an action upgrade too.

Oh yeah and did I mention Kate is super drool-worthy?

According to the Onion (yeah, I know.. reliable news) they didn't even send advanced copies of the movie out to critics. Must be real good then.

Yeah, if we listened to the critics, then we would be talking about Brokeback Mountain instead of Underworld.

I liked the first Underworld, so I'll watch the second one. Is that guy Micheal,Mr. Werewolf/Vampire himself in the movie? I saw the previews and didn't see him at all.

I didn't really like Underworld the first time I saw it, but I watched it a second time and loved it. The story is really pretty good.

I loved seeing weres and vamps in the same movie and I think the back story they created was great. I'm very excited for this movie.

And yes, Michael is in Evolution.

 

I loved the first one when I saw it in the theater. I even picked up the book version immediately after seeing it. Can't wait to go see this one.

I think I heard somewhere that Underworld was a comic years ago put out by an offshoot of Marvel Comics. Not sure if its true, but if it is, then it definately didn't rip off Blade 2.

 

Is that a werewolf that's into Warez?

Also, is the half-werewolf/Vampire guy in this one? Is he still a super-pussy?

 

I found Underworld to be a good comedy, so yeah, I might as well watch the 2nd one, on DVD. Neck-biting vampires always make me laugh.
