WAITWAITWAIT did they get rid of the part where the wheel moves from his shins to his thighs and the fender collapses?

If so then I want nothing to do with this.

Yeah, WJ removed the part for the middle wheels can move around. It's shown in the video in comparison.

I understand why they did it (so the knee can actually bend at the correct point) but I don't like how the silhouette looks with the wheels still down.

What do you mean the knees can bend at the correct point? The posability of the original SS figure is excellent. Better than 95% of retail transformers. Why didn’t they just leave it as is? Looks so much more like a KO without the feature.

I mean that if you look at the molding, the actual cylinder where the knee would normally bend is there, but the articulation point is actually just slightly behind and under it because the strut that rotates the wheel into the upper leg is there too (and wouldn't be able to stay in place correctly otherwise). As you say this doesn't really affect him too much other that looking a little strange when the leg is completely bent. As I said I really prefer the original because it allows the wheels to be rotated.

Now see this is something cool. If the quality is good, I might get this. Now if only WJ would do this with their upcoming black apple MPM Prime...

Does this one scale with the SS Decepticons? Looks like the same height as Starscream which wouldn’t work

This is the Undersize (22cm) of MPSS Commander
This is not Undersized of original (17cm) Studio Series Optimus Prime
MPSS Commander is the Oversize (28cm) of Studio Series Optimus Prime

    You Understand ? :)

I... guess...??? Isn't that one completely unchanged from the original too though? What exactly makes this a US specifically of the OS?

I think the only purpose of this new KO Undersize it's the particularity of being scaled with other autobots from the studio series range.

Okay but how does that tie this KO specifically to the OS and not just a minor OS of the original? Or is Wei Jiang just drunk?

This Optimus is 22cm (actual height 28ft) VS Megatron, Starscream and Blackout who are all in their 30s but are only 18-19cm tall.

Technically he’s too big but if you just pretend Autobots and Decepticons have their own scales you’re safe to go.

SS Blackout and Voyager optimus (and ss optimus too) ≈ 1/48
SS Jazz, Bee, ironhide and Ratchet ≈ 1/40
    Undersized MPSS Commander ≈ 1/40

    Thank you for clarification.
If only they could give him the more accurate deco of the MPSS.

Damn. That's confusing on several levels. lol We got too much KOs going around.

So despite having multiple versions, none of these KOs scale with M-01 Commander? (Commander is at least 30cm tall yes?)

Do we have any confirmation this is actually Wei Jiang? I can't read any of the Chinese on the box, but the English text in this ad looks like it credits a company called "Lubo"

Also, I think that image shows that removing the leg-wheel-swivel was just an excuse to lower the parts count, and doesn't do anything to improve leg articulation.
