    All depends on where you get your stuff done in China, you never see Hasbro recalling anything and their stuff has been made in China since forever.

    They got a billion people there. Let's say they have the same average production and qc per capita as, say, the US, with 350-million-odd people. That's already three times the total number of, uh, "incidents". Now consider that they likely produce more stuff per capita, and probably do have similar standards in some places, lower in others, and it's not terribly surprising that horrible stuff gets through.

    I just wish it was fun drugs coming through in the seafood, instead of antibiotics.

    I don't see the problem with Mattel either, its not like parents could have found toys that the children wanted anyway thanks to thier case ratios.
