It says nothing about being Complete. It dose say 100% ORIGINAL.

It is 100% original, just like it is advertised to be.

I think it was a variant...

    I'm pretty sure it was:
White small head -> painted large head (more common)
Blue faceplate on small head -> unpainted large head

More than just that. Far as I know the variables on an Ultra Magnus were.

-Rubber tires like Primes vs. plastic wheels (like the Roddy Prime and Metroplex variants)
-Totally unpainted cab head vs. blue face plate and yellow/red eyes
-Totally unpainted armoured head vs. armoured head with painted face and horns
-I've also heard tell that some large heads were soft plastic

Mine was plastic wheeled, both heads unpainted. Which leads me to believe that you could have a mix of the three.

I never realized there were so many variations of G1 Magnus... Like I said in my original post, I wasn't entirely sure what the combination was.

I got burned by a 100% original auction before for a Fort Max that was very pristine but when I got it it had fake reprolables on it. I was kinda ticked off and the selller basically said oh well.

Well the only reason I know is because my Magnus never looked like his box art. :cry  But quite a few '86 G1's have rubber tired wheels vs. plastic wheel variants.
