Anyone read this? There was a 6 issue series that has been released to tpb called Apocalypse Suite and there is a current 6 issue series, Dallas, that just released it's 4th issue.

I just finished Apocalypse Suite and I was really surprised with how much I liked it. I'm about halfway through the 3rd issue of Dallas right now, and will hopefully be completely caught up this evening.

I dig the story, the characters, the art work, the humor...I think it comes together pretty well as a whole. Just wondering if anyone else had read any of these or the trade and what they thought? I saw no topics on the subject.

Here's a wiki for those who have no idea what I am talking about: The Umbrella Academy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I picked up an issue on Free Comic Book Day (it was the first issue, I think) a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Seems like there's a good amount of interesting characters thrown in the mix. The art was cool too, but I just don't spend much $ on comics so never stayed with the series. I did see that TPB recently and flipped through it briefly.

The FCBD issue was really good, and I thought about giving the series a try, but I can't justify the cost of another monthly comic right now. I might get the trade at some point in the future, though.

Quite surprise how well the story is written by a lead singer of MCR, very Black Parde-ish.

    Kinda sad that
Rumour lost her voice, wonder how will she able to do now

I really enjoyed Apocalypse Suite, and I enjoy Dallas, too. For a third outing, I think it'd be neat if Way fleshed out what happened to Number Six.
