If it is, I hope that trailer door becomes a sword or something.

No autobot symbols, but that doesn't mean it isn't him. Not so sure about this though.

It's not, it's confirmerd as a NEST truck. Look at the front of the trailer, it's easily seen under the "95" symbol.

    :lol

As much as I wouldnt mind to see Magnus, I just think that the general audience would be confussed with three trucks.

That would be bad business decision for the Hasbro , the produces and production companies. Until the day Tf fans can give a movie a total gross of and 800 million dollar + , that's never going to happen.

The original 1986 movie was catered to fans of the cartoon rather than newcomers.

But how much did that movie make? $5,849,647 domesticly to the U.S.
$709,709,780 with Transformers 1... $836,297,228 with Revenge of the Fallen.

It's a big difference, the more G1 characters in a live action movie wont affect how much it'll make. But sure, go throw in a lot of G1 elements to bring in mythology and make the fans happy, but it wont really affect the money making.
Movie money making these days useualy last on a story and effects these days, but the way TF3 is going, even without a trailer, I can expect this to be over a $1,000,000,000. Or damn close to it.

Well i'm not sure what you trying to proof, but the 1986 movie was considered a flop at the box office, collecting only $5m during its opening weekend and collecting a total gross of 5.8 million .Due to the poor box office performances of the Transformers film , G.I. Joe: The Movie was instead released as a direct-to-video.

You can see why Hasbro and the other don't put too much hope with the fans.

Not that I think they should cater 100% to fans, but how can you say the 1986 movie was aimed at "fans"? The 1986 movie was aimed at children. People didn't become Transformers "fans" until they got into their teens or 20's. The 1986 movie is an awful example of what you guys are trying to prove...

    So, Prime has a trailer,
Motormaster might be in it, and now maybe Magnus as well.

    Hmmmmm.

    This.

Besides if the movies have proved anything, it is that audienses aen't paying to see any intricate stories or classical acting- they pay to watch flashy eye candy on the big screen. So you could make a film for the fans and the general audiences wouldn't be none the wiser.
