That solicit description was done back when they believed they could cram it all into one issue. Once they realized it they finally relented and brought in a 13th issue (of which supposedly they're now starting work on).

Here is the one for December:

I still blame Civil War ;)

Stupid Earth 616.... <long rant about how Civil war (or more accurately the pre-Civil War hype) made me finally realise that the Ultimate Universe was the way forward snipped>

    Sure.

Anyway, can't wait for this issue. Better live up the hype.

Silly Crad and his funky date telling ways.

I found this issue pretty crappy. But I haven't really enjoyed much of this arc.

Honestly I think the same way but here's why. The sparaticness of the issues shipping. If they were actually in a manner where I could remember what happened last issue, I might feel better. I'm sure when the final issues comes out and I read the full arc right through, it'll be fine.

And Hank Pym is still a dick in any universe. However the Ultron robot questioning the "infiltration" gave me a chuckle.

I think this ark was similar to that of the second season of Lost. Its a lott better seen / read then its all together at once.

Millar writes great dialogue, and his trash-talk is absolutely brilliant.

Yeah he does, Hulk kicked all sorts of ass in the issue. Seeing him in control though does make me roll my eyes at how Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine still seems to be in a sort of weird limbo type place. But back on the issue, thought the part with Quicksilver was really cool, and like how they showed just how fast he was moving, with him moving so fast that Hawkeye doesn't even finish hitting the ground before Pietro's done.

That was aces, but... but, the colourist really needed to do something to make it ABSOLOUTELY CLEAR what was going on. I didn't pick up on it until the second read through. Y'know, like making him a little blurry or something.

Still a cool little detail. Especially when the chick went "Sploooooosh!"

    Uh-oh. From LITG:

So far it's not been totally confirmed so there might not really be need to panic, but just anticipate that it may not make it's December shipping date.

Read it, didn't like it. The bad guys were killed of WAAAY to quickly, and just weren't detailed enough (liked the way Hurricane and the swarm-girl got killed, but the others either felt rushed or as if scenes were missing (Abomination, I'm looking at you). Iron Man Six kicked ass, though. Looks like something out of a Gladius-type game. Kickass.

I also have to admit that I hope that Thor will force Loki to turn reality back to normal. Every single event after the Hulk's 'execution' just felt like a mess, and with the damage done to America, it'll be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to shoe-horn it back into regular Ultimate continuity.

Except we've already seen the aftermath in Ultimates Annual 2, and it wasn't 'back to normal'.

Anyone else notice how...lacking...the art has been lately? Just hasn't been anywhere near as good as it has been before.

Definitely the inker and colourist. Likely the inker. The work just simply isn't up to par given the detail of Hitch's art.

Or maybe someone kicked Hitch in the ass really hard and made him draw faster. However his speed reduced his detail

I didn't really notice any reduced detail. Maybe my eyes were that thankful that I was holding an ultimates book my brain glossed over it :D

I'd go for the "rushed" explanation myself: its not noticable in all panels, only in some. In one panel Iron Man 6 looks noticably different: with 4 main gun instalations per side (instead of 5) and smaller twin much more "conventional gun turret like" guns at the ends that aren't present in the other panels, which is the sort of inconsistency that I normally associate with rushed production.
