Just waiting to see how Ultimate Spidey turns out first before I determine if I drop this Universe.

Hey Marvel, thanks for starting out strong with Ultimates & Ultimate Spider-Man and then completely ruining that entire line/universe.

    Just stop.

Return the Re-Launchers cause this Comic Line has Submerged.

The Only Property I liked from Ultimate Marvel were

    01.The Ultimates 1
    02.The Ultimates 2
    03.Ultimate Spiderman
04.Ultimate X-Men *I dropped it after the Apocalypse arc

If other people like it I don't think they should end it. But I'm certainly done with it. I stopped "Ultimate Spider-Man" shortly after the Ultimatum flood. Not because of the flood, but because of the teen drama and Peter and MJ breaking up. I wanted to like it with the idea of Spidey, Human Torch, and Iceman all living together and being a team, but the new "art" was also a big turnoff...

Agreed. Ultimate Spidey was my last Marvel title in my pull list. If it turns to crap...well, guess I'm done with Marvel till something interesting comes along.

Only Ultimate I get is Spiderman(which until FF(future foundation) was the only title with Spiderman I was getting after OMD) If I don't like death, I'm done with the ultimate universe. They have basically destroyed it. They seem to be doing similar thing with the regular Marvel U at times as well. I am so sick of crossovers, special covers, and tag lines. They are basically saying they can't sell book with out them.

I quit Amazing Spider-Man shortly after OMD but recently started up again. I like what's going on, but the thing is they could still be doing these stories with Peter married to MJ. They'd have to be tweaked here and there, but the adventures could stay intact. That's what I care about, the adventures, but apparently (at least according to Hasbro) most readers care more about Pete's love life...

I was also getting New Avengers, but I don't like having the last 5 pages devoted to just text... I just subscribed to FF so we'll see how it goes :)

Deadpool was just overkill considering he took up the similar role that Wolverine has. Just appeared in way too many comics at one point. That's a whole different story though.

Sadly second printings for Ultimate Spidey this upcoming week. Gotta wait till week after for anything new. I just want to get this done and over with.

I have a subscription to his main title and love it! I find myself laughing out loud, literally, at least once an issue. Otherwise I only occasionally pick up Deadpool Corps, so I'm not falling victim to the overkill :)

Like others have said, my decision on if I pick up any of these new books is all based on what's going to happen with the Ultimate Spider-Man series.

    No Spidey, no me.

Marvel is full of fail lately. between this and the .1 initiative, they need to just stop clever marketing ploys and just focus on making good damn comics.

They're relaunching the Ultimate Universe again? Already? It was just two years ago they relaunched it after Ultimatum. Yeah, Marvel needs to figure out these marketing ploys aren't working very well and get back to just writing good stories.

They don't care, they are swimming in money from Disney an the Movies/cartoons. Comics are the last thing they care about.

They just need to have good stories that are self contained again. With writers that last longer than 6 to 12 issues.

True! But somebody gave that man a job. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE :lol

Ultimates 3 was an utter disgrace compared to what had come before. I don't think I've ever been more pissed off reading comics.

Ultimates 3 was a big fat pile of shit, and marked the point where I stopped taking such an interest in that universe. I soldiered on until Ultimatum completely futtbucked what had once been an enjoyable universe and then gave up. Now I just read synopses on websites. And it makes me feel glad I stopped.
Stop it, Marvel. Just stop it.

What really bugged me about the .1 comics is those issues aren't included in subscriptions, so I'm missing out on some stories.
