I've decided to take a bash at the mammoth task off doing a 100% complete checklist, this could take a while as its taken all week to do the USA G1! Feel free to check it out so far Transformers Checklist I'm open to any criticisms, idea's or if something is just plain old wrong. I'm getting most of my info from here, Seibertron, TFArchive and the 2 TF Wiki's.
Have you tried looking up Rob Jung's old site, Electric Escape? He used to have a very comprehensive list on there. Not sure if it has been updated in the last few years, though.
What message are you getting? shouldn't need a google account to view it and i dont think its uk only.
The two Wikis pretty much have the same information on them. However, I have found tfwiki.net to be the better (it seems to be updated more).
Don't forget shmax.com. I believe we've got pretty much every variant of every release of every toyline from every country, and you can not only "check" items off interactively (and save it, and download it as a spreadsheet), you can even un-check any parts you're missing, and enter additional data like how much you paid, when and where, etc. And you're right about it being a mammoth task--so far we have nearly 6000 SKU records, and more than 22,000 figure and accessory records. I hope you'll find it useful as you compile your "ultimate" list.
Oh dont you worry old bean i hadn't forgot bout it. I am slowly using it to check off my own collection ,as it is excellent for keeping track of the parts im missing. I wanted a nice 'little' checklist of my own so i could see the entire TF line in one document (and for some crazy reason i like creating stupid things like that i do it for allsorts) and thought i might as well share it. i can see I've got a long way to go to catch up with you though!
Good luck, you have a big project ahead of you. I have a spreadsheet I've been building for nearly ten years that can be sorted by year, line, subgroup, character name, description, etc... includes every toy produced by Hasbro and Takara right down to weird variants and obscure campaign microns.
