Well I have all of the issues in each run and #150 by my count should be 149. So wiki has it right by what I physically count. But there's no issue 134 so I don't know how they got to 150.

Issue #134 was exculsive to a convention that was never advertised and could only be purchased if you had three testicles and a last name stating with the letter X.

Alternatively, someone screwed up and they're hoping no one noticed.

Someone on Newsarama or Bleeding Cool brought that up as well, Marvel just screwed up.

If I'm not mistaken, same thing happened to Incredible Hulk.

Ok, this is so lame. I ran a few more searches and came across a thread on comicbookresources where some folks were discussing this. Apparently there was an issue numbered 1/2 prior to number 1 coming out. Therefore in totality, #150 would be the 150th issue. But it should be 149. So apparently they are counting this issue 0.5 which is incorrect and lame.

That was a Wizard mail-in and it was actually published in 2002 after number 1 came out :)  probably shouldn't count but most likely it was counted though, since it was included in Ultimate Spider-Man vol 3 collection

Yes, according the Bendis you have to count the 1/2 issue. It's a total cheat and very lame.

How's it a cheat when it's an actual issue and contained new content? It's literally 1 of the 150 issues.

It was a 1/2 issue released by Wizard. It's not like it was readily available on the newstand. So maybe not a cheat but it's definitely a stretch to say it was a full issue of Ultimate Spider-Man.

And, it obviously wasn't clear enough when the switch back took place because there were numerous threads about it at the time over at CBR, alll asking the same question.

I don't know what would have killed Marvel to do one more issue before switching back to the old numbering as it would have kept a lot of confusion from coming up in regards to the numbering.

I guess where it was collected, I believe in chronolgically correct placement, in one of the collected hardcovers, I've always considered it part of the series.

The thing I find more of a cheat, is that Ultimate Spider-Man Requiem is obviously part of the main story but isn't being consider in the 150 issues.

Maybe they're also counting the Ultimate Spider-man Special as part of the ongoing to go along with 1/2 issue.

Just read 160. Just kind of disappointed that much won't be known till the next issue.

Time to start over with these #1's.

The death of Spiderman means the death of me buying any Ultimate comics. I should have quit at Ultimatum as the best of the universe was behind it but I kept going hoping for something. Spiderman stayed strong but everything else was...not

It's just kind of sad, Ultimate Spider-Man used to be Marvel's best selling title every month, and it ends like this. Started with a bang, ended with a whimper

Totally agree. I don't think I will be bothering with the Ultimate line anymore either. I remember in the early 2000's, the Ultimate titles were one of the best things Marvel had going. Oh well, this will save me some money to spend on none-cape titles.

It kind of ended like it started with a really emotional, personal story. I'm not a fan Peter being dead but I can't deny that it was a good story.
