Hello everyone. I have been brainstorming for a while on this one. I really didn't like hasbro's version for combination, so I came up with my own version. I drastically freed up Prime's legs so he can get some killer poses. By the way, all armor for Prime is fully removeable. He still retains his original bot mode and alt mode. Jetfire however, well, lets just say the same can't be said for him. Here he is for everyone to enjoy. Please feel free to leave comments!

Yeah, I'll try to get around to it within the next week or two time permitting.

I did the same thing. Since Jetfire is now just parts, I recommend that you take some more pieces off of him and use for other projects. Like maybe remove his hands, head, and any other parts. What's cool is that you should be able to use the parts left over and still transform (or PARTSform) it into the Blackbird.

Nice! It's really good to see prime using jetfire's bits in a way that doesn't seem totally immobilizing (default toy setup) or like a simple jetpack (like in the movie.)

    Very well done!

"How this toy should have looked combined" for the win. I love the details on Prime now, as well as the feet layout. You mentioned that the figure is very stable when we talked, and it looks it. I also definitely think it's possible to create a trailer mode for the parts. Honestly, I'd still love to see the Blackbird parts in Wing Saber colors, or just pimped out 'Deceptihunter style' with battle damage.

One personal request from me too is to see a photo of this in a beat-em-up with your Burning Fallen redeco. :thumb

You got rid of the grill on Primes feet. Does this mean he no longer TF's, or am I missing something??

No, the grills are still there. I guess I did a good job at blending them with the rest of the figure. Look at the photo's again and look behind Prime's calf. They are folded up and out of the way. Oh, yeah, Prime is still fully transformable. He retains both bot and alt mode.

if I ever find a Jetfire + Optimus leader without MIB MISB (and thus the highpricing) I'll do this... so I can put mine away in the 2 boxed set which shows the individual botmodes which I like allot!
