    Yep.

Alright so some of us love us some Cyberverse. yum.

Anyways I was looking forward to the wave 2 Action Sets. See, I'm not big on the Legion figures, I want me some full articulation. Neck joint missing? Alright whatever, but give me some ball jointed hips, shoulders, and at least hinged knees and elbows.

So anyways both Prime and Megatron combine with their trailers. @#$%^&*()ing awesome, at that scale, I HAD TO HAVE THEM.

So forth, I did. Bought both a few weeks ago. Anyways, the recent video review of Ultimate Optimus had me going...

    WTF...

Then I realized...hey wait...the Optimus Cyberverse Action set in combined mode...

    REMINDS ME OF ULTIMATE OPTIMUS!

See here goes. The legs? On Ultimate, in combined mode, they don't move. Pretty lame. Same goes for Cyberverse Prime combined with trailer BUT you don't have to keep the legs in. In fact, they aren't that secure.

Cyberverse Prime has these huge arms that he can hold like excavator arms or something. Ultimate Prime seems to do the same thing, only he has that giant cannon. Same with Cyberverse Prime but not as big.

Does this change the way I feel about Ultimate? Dunno, have to see it in person. I mean Cyberverse I figured, flew around or some shit, but Ultimate does not look like he can fly. Does he roll on wheels or something?

Eh, should only be a week more til most of us see him in stores I guess.

As size gets really big or really small, articulation goes to crap. :lol

I'm not a big fan of a combining trailer (I blame superpants Prime :p ) so Ultimate is not on my list, but Cyberverse version just looks so neat, and at that size, lack of articulations won't bother me.

I love Prime w/trailer though, so will be picking up the upcoming TakTom 2 pack of G1 and movie deluxe OP. Compatible trailer is such a neat idea.

For some figures. Unicron and the Masterpiece series had some decent articulation.

    I'm sorta wondering this too...

    But,
    CV + trailer = $13 at Target
    Ultimate OP = $90-ish?

If the revelation is impending similarity then I dunno - save $77 and go with CV?

Can't speak to Ultimate as I don't have it yet, But I love the CV Megatron and Optimus. Fun combos with the trailers, and neat little battle stations as well.

They're similar. Both combine with their trailers. Both have a big gun. Both have excavator arms or something akin. Both technically have no leg articulation in combined mode.

Hell yeah they're fun! Best Cyberverse Action Sets so far.
