Hot damn that looks amazing. After the excellent Tatsunoko vs Capcom, I have extremely high hopes for this.

With today's ability to store such large games, there's no reason to limit a game of this scope to like 30 - 35 characters. If it has less than 50 characters, I am going to be really disappointed. Also, movie versions of characters would be bad-ass.

His super would somehow involve a piano and also being a complete douche.

It's 3 on 3 though, according to the Kotaku interview.

The cast is pretty limited for a 3 on 3 game. Hopefully they're just sandbagging the rest of the cast and have another 30 hidden characters.

 

Don't forget his emo hair flip and pelvic thrust.

I could easily live with less characters then MVC2 if more of them are actually worth playing, having 50 characters is a bit pointless when only 10 or 20 of them are actually any good.

it may be 2 on 2 yet. It'll disappoint a lot of folks though. Like the limited cast is doing now.

 

Hmn, well I'd take 30 useful characters over 30 duds and 20 good ones. SHRUG.

You can't douse my enthusiasm, this is what I've waited my whole life for. Well, at least a decade of it, anyway.

 

I'm hoping they use this to pull in a bunch of Capcom characters/franchises that havent shown up in a while. Like Tech Romancer/Kikaio or Powerstone. Wouldnt mind Aile from ZX either.
