Always liked this mold except for a couple of things.
    1. The stupid punch gimmick that didn't let him stay still.
(glued him together and cut off the tab to push to activate)
    and

    2. The gap in alt-mode caused by his upper legs. (Just looks bad if you ask me)

So, I had an old Skywarp who was broken but had good legs, and I like the way the legs collapse. Figured I'd try to blend the two. Still a wip with ALOT of work left.

But, if anyone has tried something similar, or has any advice I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks for looking.

No reason not to believe you. I asked if anyone had tried it. Folks get the same idea all the time. I watched the vid. Like what he did. Mine will be slightly different. But seeing his helps. Thanks.

That's me. Here are some pic. I should update them since I have a better camera now.

I was hoping to see someone else do this too. I like how you were able to use just one set of legs with some good cutting. Very nice.

I see you got some props from Solrac333 on the Optimus Prime Leg mod. I will be sure to give the credit when I do the Leg mod on My Classics Optimus Prime.

You're on the right track. Other than paint, I think if you get sand paper, you can then sand and smooth any rough edges from the cuts until it looks seemless.

    Update

Got the filler applied. Once it's fully cured then it's time to sand, cut and scrape. Then on to paint.
Just hope I don't screw it up. lol

Way back in the day, Cheebs took this mold and gave it an overhaul. By the time he was finished with it, there were few parts left of ol' 2-pack Prime.

Mainly, like you've done, those legs just need to telescope-transform. :thumb

    Sorry Brother,
They ended up on a fan fic seeker I built.

As for progress, I got sidetracked. New GF, Metroplex, Galvatron, Computron. Football season. I'll get more up when I can.

Got bored and did almost the same. I just couldn't chop up a seeker mold... :(
