Good luck with the Spider-man training mission. At the end you have to beat the Scorpion and keep Dum Dum Dugan alive. Unfortunately Dum Dum really lives up to his name. You need to finish all the training missions to unlock the Silver Surfer and this has been the hardest for me yet. Also, word of warning. The higher your level the tougher the opponents in the training missions. They aren't based on a static level. Play around with it to figure out the right time to take them on.
I have been doing them in-between missions. Finnish a mission do any training disks I picked up. So far the only one I haven’t been able to get gold on is Doctor Strange.
Ok finally got the Spider-Man sim disk and it is damn hard. What the hell are you supposed to do when they are going to drop the stuff on Dum-Dum? I tried hitting the two buttons that pop up one at a time, I try hitting them at the same time, I try holding them both down but he always takes the hit. Driving me crazy!

Ok I cleared it, I guess I just need a good night sleep before trying it again. Now I have all the Spider-Man, Captain America and Thor costumes.

just beat the game. Cool ending.. a slight tip/spoiler on that.... Those side missions affect what you get in a summary. Odin congratulates you on saving Namor or the computer on the helicarrier saying that Namor in the future will make peace with surface dwellers, the computer stops the legacy virus, etc. The sound booth clips are pretty funny. My faves were Prof. X getting a little pissed at having to say the lines so many times he threatens to make the sound guy relive his chilhood bullying at school. And the best was Mehpisto being late again from partying out late night. It leads to a great joke about Hollywood selling their astral souls to him for talent.
Scarlet Spider is in there too and is the costume I'm using for Spider-Man now, I like its set of stat boosts. Electra has some lame costumes. Classic and Ultimate are fine but the other two are the same in different colors and only slightly different from the Ultimate.
I have everyone but Black panther and Nick Fury I believe (I unlocked Surfer with the COde packed into the game from Gamestop)
Opened up Silver Surfer a couple of days ago and currently working on opening up all the costumes. About 5 left to go. Make sure you play through on Normal so you carry on your stats to the Hard difficulty. It lets you boost your powers there some more. As far as the ending Rattrap I think it was the Watcher talking about how your actions affected the end game, not Odin. That's kind of the Watcher's job and all. Word of warning. Spoiler!!!! Team Level Max is 30. That means once you've gotten that high there will be two spaces you will not be able to fill for team stats. Make sure those two unfillable spaces are for Team Roster. You will only be able to have a roster of eight people on your team that way, but after level 30 you can still achieve points to switch current team members out with non team members. I did not know this and now my max health and energy have one empty bar.
yeah it was the watcher.. my bad. It basically tells you about your actions in the game. I want to do one where I get all done right, and one where i don't do any.. I had to quit my Hard Level game because Dum Dum is an idiot! I get him to the safe point (on about the 70th try) and he kept following me and trying to fight when he had about 5% health! Idiot!
