I didn't see a thread for this bit of info, and I thought some others might be interested about this...

Well it sounds like good news for US fans of the 1986 Transformers movie who own a blu-ray player. Reports are saying that the UK Blu-ray release of the 1986 movie are region free. This means that owners of Region A players will be able to watch the movie on their players. (The Blu-ray region for the US is A. Locked discs from the UK would be region B.)

And some DVD/Bluray comparisons from the AVS forums: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=11780501#post11780501

Now to find out how to go about importing this movie... :p

Awesome. You can get it for £18.38 shipped to the US from Amazon.co.uk. Anyone find it cheaper?

Can you order from Amazon.co.uk and have it shipped directly to the US? Or do you need some sort of middle man?

Also, some people at the AVS Forum were talking about Sendit.com. I looked and they have the movie for £12.89 and it looks like shipping to the US would cost £1.60. Anybody here try them? I'm thinking of giving these guys a shot.
