If Hasbro are gonna insist on doing multiple versions of core characters then the one choice I hope they make (which means they won't of course) is a Voyager Ratchet.
I have this feeling that the deluxe Ratchet will look a little small compared to the other bots, especially Earth Prime.

Not till now, but, it was always very likely, imo, that we were going to get a toy version of him at some point. He is one of three known Elite Guard members, and they seem to play a big role later on in the show.

 

i still have that toy somewhere's in the basement and your right it was AWESOME. if megs looks like that toy then thats a must get for me.

 

I'm really glad the toys were pushed back, 'cause now I can happily pass on buying Voyager Cobra Mamba-tron and "Voyager" Bulkhead and wait for the bigger ones down the road. Also nice to hear confirmation on a toy of Phil LaMarr as Jazz,too.  

Would Voyager Prime be in-scale with Leader Bulkhead? I'm not sure if Prime is taller than Bulkhead in the show.

 

I think it would go Leader Bulkhead, Voyager Prime and Ratchet and finally Prowl and Bumblebee as deluxes for the most consistent line up.

 

I was hoping to go back to being a completionist with Animated, but I guess now I'll just have to pick and choose. Not really interested in getting multiple versions of the characters in different sizes. Ah well, cool news overall.

agreed, but I'd like to see a release schedule for the leaderclass figures first. Chances re they could be a year down the road. look at the huge time gap between lader megs and prime to their voyager counterparts. hen you got not a voyager, but deluxe brawl and later a leaderclass.

 

I want a confirmation of Magnus as a leader class,
and the time he'll be hitting shelves so I can set aside $50 for him.

He is the only figure that I am obligated to buy.
All other are optional, but I do plan on picking up as many as I can.

 

Glad to hear they're releasing the Earth mode versions of Prime and Megs as Leader figures. Those will be the ones I get. As far as Bulkhead is concerned, he's not a fav of mine so I'll probably just go with the voyager.

I'm interested in seeing what those Marvel TFs look like. All three (Venom, Iron Man, Hulk) sound great. A tank alt mode goes well with Hulk and the jet is perfect for Iron Man. But why a jeep for Venom? Some kind of all black sports car would have been better IMO. Regardless, I'll be keeping my eye out for these. I just hope they are of better quality than the SWTFs.

 

I personally think that the "Leader" Optimus Prime mentioned here is really just the Roll-Out and Command Optimus Prime. We've seen little of him, but I can see how someone could see him as a Leader class figure. He does come with a pretty big axe, but it's similar to the 2-pack's axe (meaning that it doesn't transform into anything).

Ultra Magnus, while not confirmed from hasbro, has basically already been confirmed to be a Leader class figure, as we've been told that he's bigger than a Voyager, and the only size class bigger than that in this line is the Leader class. Hopefully it won't be too long till we get some more insight on some of these things, and hopefully some pictures, though it could be a while before we see some (I'm not sure when the next convention is).

Alright, Marvel TFs sound like they'll be good!

...Deluxe Bulkhead? Not sure if that's necessary... though if it's the rumored "Headmastered" version, that would make sense.

 

From what we've seen, and now read, the "Headmastered" version seems to be the Leader class version of him. I'm begining to think that the Deluxe class Bulkhead could be a pre-Earth version of him.

 

i have to say with the way animated is going im gonna definetly be a completist on it. and as for venom being a jeep and not a sports/muscle car dont think they want 2 black cars of that i mean lockdown is pretty much gotten the whole alien/spawn look to him and hes a car so they may be avoiding that for that reason. but its the HAS u can never be sure of there motives
