And don't forget that this is for the UK, which normally doesn't see all releases anyway it seems.

Back in 2010, Generations saw 10 figures released (with another 3 from the next year slipping into December) in the US.
If nothing else, I'm sure us in the US will see a few extra redecos to fill out the line.

A little late to the party here, sorry. As far as the Generations/FoC news goes, was there an approximate time that these were going to be released?

Not that I know of. Considering they only mentioned eight figures, I feel it's safe to assume that we won't see them till much later in the year. Either that, or they don't have any plans past those eight figures.

New generations and Fall of Cybertron figures. Guess I'll have to start collecting again this year :)

Well the year off was nice. Couldn't have afforded to keep it up anyway.

Were any new Star wars Transformers mentioned at Toyfare - They always seem to get overlooked on this site - but if anything was said I'd like to know ?

    No problem.

They're a part of the two pages from the UK toy fair catalog dedicated to Star Wars (seen here over at Toyark). Though other than the fact that they are continuing, there is no new info on them.

Because most fans don't care about them :p

But all I've heard for this year thus far are a bunch of repacks in the class II range, Darth Maul is still due in the class I range, and Class III is just the QuadChanger STar Destroyer in new packaging.
No one has said anything really because there is nothing really new to report at this stage.

That's not necessarily true. The Universe line only had a few reveals at a time. In fact, the only reason it felt like we had so many reveals for the Generations line is because of the shared aesthetic in RTS. Past that, they don't really go balls out with the reveals unless it's the start of a line.

Actually, I can't think of any lines that had more reveals than 8 this early.

8 reveals = 3 potential waves. That's pretty good numbers for a sideline. You'd be looking at either 4-2-2 or 3-3-2 for new mold distribution, if they go with the launch of the game. That'd fill out the last four months of the year nicely. Bear in mind also this is only for 2012, so there could be more in 2013.
