Hey just a quick question is anyone from the UK a member of botcon, a stupid question I know but I am just interested in the price for shipping to this country if I bought a model from them.

You've got your terms a bit mixed up but no worries, "Botcon" is just the name for the convention.
The club you're asking about is ru by the same folks who organise the convention and it's called the "Transformers Collectors Club".
There are several UK board members on here who are also members of said club (not me though).
As far as the shipping from them goes, I belive it is quite expensive.

Depending on what figure(s) you want there are better avenues available to get them, if you want some advice on online stores then just post what you're looking for. ;)

The shipping costs vary, but you get to see them at checkout and can cancel your order if it seems like its too much.

I ordered the new MiniCon sets last night and the shipping was pretty reasonable.

Including the tracking it was about $21.

I consider that reasonable as if we were to send something of a similar size and include the tracking it would probably cost about £14-£16.

When I was a member the first year the shipping from the club shop was outrageously expensive - three of four times BBTS's equivalent. Someone I know bought a LOC Ramjet from them and got charged $20 dollars shipping, and when it arrived the stamp was for $4.

They did eventually start offering Global Priority Mail which likely helps however. After needing to be told far, far too many times.
