My cell phone and PC jumped forward an hour. And I have no freakin' idea as to why. The boards did too. Ahhh!

This is what happens when you're unemployed. You don't hear from every higher up about how you need to fix your watch, etc.

Yep, DST started. They really need to do away with it.

I'm not sure about places other that the UK, but here it was started in WW1 as one of the peasures passed using DORA to incdrease production by giving an extra hour of daylight during working hours, and it stuck.

Same thing here in the US. But now the reason for DST is no longer valid as studies have been done that prove that the supposed "increased production" or even lower electricity bills do not really occur.

I miss the good ol' days when DST ended on a March :( , I recently watched a program that stated that it could be hazardous to our health by having our DST finishing in April instead of March. Did you guys have your DST finishing a month later as well?

Hell, I had no clue it was either. At least I'm not opening the station, or I'd be late for work.

Egh... It was just getting to the point where we could actually start working at the start of the work day. Now that sun up is an hour later, we have to wait around till we have daylight.

Yup, DST is good in ways and blows in others. I woke up thinking it was quarter to 8, but nope, quarter to 9. I'm so used to getting up earlier, due to having a 2 year old, so I feel like half the day is gone.

UK and US DST are different days so it always bends my mind having to adjust already confusing timezones when arranging when to meet people around the world on msn until we synchronize again.
