I don't know if you guys have had the chance to check it out, but Comedy Central is airing a new animated series called Ugly Americans right after South Park.

Just wanted to see what you guys' opinions are, especially since I work on the show (plug plug).

Never saw the first episode. The second episode had some funny parts (The shooting part, "Why don't you come home with me and explain to my 6 year old son why DADDY DOESN'T HAVE AN ARM!", etc).

Basically, I'm gonna watch episode 3. And it's alright.

I thought it was ok. I'd watch the next episode if I had the chance.

First episode was way more hilarious just because they had more room to cram in those random "WTFS?!" of characters in the background.

    Loving it so far though!

It was ok, but it just seems like another of Comedy Central's typical post-South Park done in one filler shows.

Except that it's helmed by David Stern who worked as a story consultant on The Wonder Years, wrote and consulted for the Simpsons (seasons 2-5), and even on Monk. There's definitely a lot of weak spots so far, but keep in mind there's large universe that needs to be fleshed out. Hopefully you can see it for the potential it has.

    BTW New episode on tonight!

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the show and it does have potential....just that there have been so many shows that have filled the slot after South Park over the years, I never expect any of them to last longer than a season or two and they never do. That slot is just cursed with no staying power for whatever show fills it.

Though I hope it all works for you and the other people involved with the show.
