I can't make Optimus red and blue  

 

Personally I think that's a good thing, it means players have to come up with their own ideas, and not just rip off the campaign models.

 

Except that doesn't really work because it's not people's own ideas if they're confined to a certain layout and certain colour combinations. I mean, that's flimsy justification. Plus, what if people want to make campaign characters? There's no harm in that. There's absolutely no good reason to limit the options.

 

Is Navy/Magenta an option for the Scouts?

I NEED those colors. Need 'em.

Magenta is a Darker pinkish red.

My fan-character is an Autobot with a Navy Magenta colorscheme.

 

Yep, taking out color sliders was really dumb.

 

This might only be the demo colours more may be in the final version

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too. If not, then that may be the one thing about customization in foc that's worse that what it was in wfc.

 

Funny thing is the only way to look like Optimus is to be a Decpticon haha. Also if your wondering which color combo it is, bottom left.

Awesome job, HMS. Gamers aren't stupid; give us the option to truly customize characters. We don't need three color identifiers telling us who is or isn't on our team: each side has a pre-set color for user names, and each faction has a glowing insignia that is color specific to his or her team--if gamers are working like a team, as you suggest they do, they'll be in contact with their teammates and won't need any additional help identifying them.

HMS, you teased us with a white Optimus in WFC's MP, and now you tease us with the ability to make custom characters that aren't exactly the characters we were dreaming about 

Here's hoping beating the game or unlocking Prime mode unlocks locked colors. If not that, hopefully, additional colors can be purchased like all other body parts.

 

I wonder if alot of people tweet HMS about the colour options , they will change it or say there are more in the final game

 

I just want to know one thing: Are there multiple color levels (like main body red, some armor plates white), or is there only one one with pre-determined color combinations?

 

The color options aren't a huge deal. Doesn't detract at all from the experience. *Edit... Seems as though there are a lot of parts/colors not even shown in the demo that I've been seeing in screen shots released. Good news.
