One of these days, I am going to figure out why it is that the Legends scale figures look so much better than CHUG from HasTak and often even MP! That Springer and Kup are so dead on perfect looking to me, I can't believe they're Legends scale.

Speaking of Legends scale, MMC Sky Lynx looks awesome with them! I still plan on getting it for my CHUG collection, but it seems to go perfectly with the above figures.

Awesome photos as usual! Thank you for posting them and please don't stop.

Believe me when I say that we benefit greatly from you taking the time to post these amazing photos! The least we can do is tell you how much we appreciate your work. Your photos belong in an art gallery, just saying.

Shout out to ohmyprimus and Wei Jiang for making this shoot possible and looking forward to future collaborations :)

A very simplified review of the figure:
While the added parts may look gimmicky upon first impression, they do help improve the aesthetics and as importantly, the tabbing of the panels in alt mode. Props for modifying some of the parts too to make things better. Worth considering if you are into Movie-verse figures and want a good Blackout figure (or a huge a$$ helicopter!) :LOL

That is a thing of beauty. I had decided not to get the Studio Series since I am not going completionist on Bayverse, but Blackout was one of the more impressive Decepticons overall. I admit I know little of this figure, is it up-scaled/oversized? As long as it scales decently with SS RotF Megatron, I may make this my third KO, after MP10V and PapaToys Reflector, both amazing in their own right.

While I don't agree with KO's in general as they do nothing but take advantage of another company's hard work, changing the mold or up-scaling or down-scaling does require a bit of effort and often re-engineering to make it work, making the figure more of their own.

Side note, Scorponok is actually too big for the diorama as he was about car-sized and couldn't have been more than 6-7 ft tall with tail angled overhead. Still, I appreciate what they did and it's clever how they used the parts-forming filler panel for that, though I hope that doesn't become a trend, as it borders on lazy.

    Awesome photos as usual!

Hide Shadow's about 13 inches tall. Not too familiar with the scale of figures in the Bayverse realm, but hope this number helps you scale him. Cheers!

Yup, that's upscaled. Bigger than a standard CHUG combiner. Even Feral Rex is 12 inches at its head. That's a shame. I know they are going for MPM scale, but personally I think they should keep them in Studio Series scale, SS RotF Megatron was actually just as tall as SS Blackout, big for a Voyager.

He just doesn't live up to the standards of his father... I really like the mutlichangers as that was always my second favorite gimmick (behind combiners). I hope you are getting settled in at your new place!

Hey, I actually own this figure! lol. I was not a fan of any of his alt modes, but the bot mode just seems to have so much charisma...I especially liked that FP gave him the pistols and big guns like his G1 toy, and the flip up and down visor is just inspired. I think he goes he really well with my MMC Hexatron.

I don't own that many 3P figures, but I saw this guy on sale and just had to get him. I did not regret the purchase, and I am VERY picky about my 3P purchases. Too much money to waste on a lemon (not that I don't have a couple).

    Awesome gallery as usual!
