    Anybody else have anything weird that you do when you type? Intentional or unintentional?

    Only intentional thing I do that I can think of is (especially when I am posting a quick reply) is I'll never capitolize the first word in my post, yet I still put a period at the end of the sentence. My English teachers cry a little every night because of it I'm sure.

    As for unintentional, mine tend to be heavily recurring typos:
    taht=that
    ym=my
    fo=of
    -ign=-ing (breaking for instance)
    Generally, they are just simple letter swapping but I've been known to completely mangle a word before
    nagmle=mangle for example.

    Really nothing asides from the usual typo, unless I am feeling in a "133t" mood.

    Example:

    r3@11y n01h1ng un13$$ 1 @m f3311ng 1n @ 1331 m00d

    Whenever I type with my Caps Lock key on, I find myself unconsciously reaching for the Shift key nonetheless. And I like typing 'like' as 'liek'.

    Often when a word has a repeating letter (spool). I double the wrong letter (spoll).

    I also often place spaces in th ewrong spots.

    I make typos that don't change how the word sounds. Like like and liek. Also, since I think faster than I can type, my words tend to mush together and I'll jumble letters. I did it about four times just typing this post.

    I do it with speech to. If I learned to talk clearer when I do it, I could easly VA a Blurr-style character. But I lysdexia up my words.

    I'll abbreviate 'because' to 'cos. I just checked online and it seems that people are quite forgiving of it even though it's not a proper shortening of the word. I'll also write 'tho' instead of 'though' when on MSN.
    For the most part I'll try to write everything correctly, but those two always happen and it bothers me not.
    Besides that I'll make the usual keyboard spelling mistakes and also hit a semicolon instead of an apostrophe sometimes.

    i am pretty dyslexic and have been known to type whole sentences backwards.

    that and i don't like capitalising stuff unless it's for something like, a resume or something important like that.

    When i actually think about what i type, i suck at typing.
    (like i just had to use the backspace key like 8 times in that last sentence.)

    But when i do my stream of consciousness writing projects for my personal journal,
    i am able to speed up, no errors, no problems.

    i call my typing errors "keyboard dyslexia"- as in i know what i want to do, but the fingers don't perceive it that way and things get reversed.

    and for someone who competed in spelling bees from 4th grade till 9th grade, i feel stupid admitting that when i type certain words, i can't remember I before E except after C....
    receive
    receipt
    niece....
    silly

    I type with one finger. I'll use my left pointer finger on the shift button when I hafta capitalize a letter, but other than that it's all done with my right pointer.
