Amazing... I always wanted to see a good Grimlock come out of this mold, without the gorilla proportions. You've hit it on the nose! :D

I can't wait to see more pics... I see you used Alternator legs to give him more height... but I'm curious to see how you handled the waist extension.

Is that an Animated Grimlock head?

The alt mode reminds me of steampunk while the Bot mode is reminiscent of G.I.Joe Vs. Transformers Art of War Grimlock. I really like! A+

Nice! You've done a great job of combining those 2 completely different figures. A bit of this, a bit of that & he turned out pretty-damn cool! Sweet-ass job Mate! :thumb

I think it's his Titanium head

I don't think it is. The scale is off, and Titanium Grimlock (besides being rare as hell) doesn't have light piping.

I'm 99% positive that's an Animated Grimlock head, with the big silly trap-jaw removed, and some extra detailing around the mouthplate. Nice conversion.

Yeah, there are KO versions of the Crossovers... most of them anyway. KOTOYS had a bunch of them. I don't know how the quality is though.

The transformation might be a little bit simplified... it could explain why the shoulders aren't fully transformed (maybe they can't?). Or it could just be oyloveq's preference.

Bot mode is PERFECT! Possibly the nicest Grim I've seen, even nicer than the MP in some ways, in terms of proportion and capturing the character's "essence."

The alt-mode is a little weaker, but it still works, and that's probably partially my personal bias against WWI Dynobots at work anyway.

A stunning piece, you should be proud!

The artist can confirm or deny, but I'm with SMOG on this! That looks bang-on to be Ani-Grim's noggin'

Yes,The KO Hulk I used is quite simplified, I'll use the authentic one to displace the ko parts.

And the head is from TFA Grim, I cut the big jaw and added some 'tooth' similar things on its cheek.

Yay, more pictures! Fantastic! That Animated Grimlock head looks so perfect on this piece. The alt-mode also really feels very WWII retro... and I like it. :)

Any chance we could see the inner workings of the chest extension in detail?
