For real! The new Magnus, Skywarp had the most gruesome of Twist Tie mayhem I have ever seen. It took me forever to get them out the box and just when you thought it was over...BAM! More twist ties! Nobody could steal these ever!

The same ones that put twist ties through star Saber and Victory Leo's hands.

It took me 3 minutes with some nail clippers.

    It wasn't that bad.

When the issue of twist-tie induced madness arises, Armada Unicron is always the first to come to my mind.

I remember Unicron being bad, also Vector Prime vs Starscream. 6Tit WWI Prime was a pain from memory.

I didn't want Classics Magnus so I've split the pack with someone else and they've sent my Skywarp (still twist tied up) so he should arrive soon, then I can share your pain.

seriously, anyone who complains about twist ties on smaller toys must not own Unicron or Brave Max

Ditto, The Fallen was also a pain in the A$$. I got what i thought was all the tie, then bam more ties after i got the plastic part out of the box. All and all i think it took me 15 mins to get him opened and out.

The person or people that came up with the twist tie idea for toys, Is a sick sick Bastard

Brave Max was the biggest twist tie nightmare I've ever faced. Took like 30 minutes to free him from his prison.

Normally I take these opportunities to remind people who complain about twist ties to just use clippers, but in Magnus/Skywarp's case I'm right there with you. It still took me about 15 minutes, even WITH clippers. It may not have the quantity of twist ties that Unicron had (though it's gotta be damn close), but the complexity is obscene. Twist ties underneath other twist ties, twist ties behind pieces of packaging, twist ties at awkward angles, twist ties crossing over and through each other's paths...I've never seen as ridiculous a security job as this toy had. And yes, I've opened both a Unicron and a Brave Max.

Supreme Starscream was the worst for me. They were twisted up tight and they were doubled under. And I didn't have any tools!

They were pretty brutal even with clippers. Worst I have seen since 20th anv Ops.

I haven't opened my UM VS SW set yet. Thanks for the heads up. From the sounds trying to undo the twist ties by hand is worse than the 6" titaniums... and those are horrible to undo by hand.
