Yup, was thinking the same thing when I saw these. It's uncanny. It's a shame they aren't better-articulated in robot mode, or I think we would be looking at perfect customs fodder for a Classics Twin Twist and Top Spin.
How big are they?
I think it's probably a limitation of the gimmick. If the arms and legs had more range of movement it would throw off the balance of the figure when jumping up into robot mode, or perhaps bits might even fly off it it used ball joints. Unless the extra joints could be locked off to form the required rigid structure and you unlock them after it transformed itself. But then unlocking those could be considered negating the point of the self-transforming gimmick.
At least that's how I see it. Pity though.
i would guess deluxe sized?
That's... to the point.
The new Spiderman movie has some of these too, 3 different Spiderm...Spidermen? And 1 of the new Lizard.
Cool. Marvel X-overs aren't dead.
Saw these (and the Spidies).
Ironman looks exactly like topspin.
Very much Jumpstarters 2.0.
hmm.... looks like they coulb be made into TT and TS.....
Captain America has the best alt. mode of the three.
They should make Cosmos in this style.
I picked up the Hulk and Iron Man and would have grabbed the others if I'd seen them at the time - they have nice sculpts and pretty much identical to TT and TS in terms of size and build. They do say "Transformers technology" on the side of the package.
