Hahaha, good to see I knew what I was talking about. Story time!!! I work at a musical instrument store, and we also sell sheet music. The other day this lady calls up looking for sheet music for a song from this movie. I already forgot the name; anyway, nothing pulls up as being available. So I tell her this, and also that unless they know for sure its going to be a 'hit' movie sheet music takes about 3-4 months after a movie comes out to be in print. Her response is 'Well of course it’s going to be a hit movie, it’s based on a series of books, and they are really popular with girls.' Anyway, I see........$45 million tops for this movie to bring in domestically. So no, it will not be a 'hit' movie.
I just watched the trailer; shitting crikey, what a pile of drivel. "You never go out in sunlight." Yeah, but a bit of an overcast day is perfectly alright, is it? Absolute bollocks.
thanks for the laugh man , now Im curious to read more than the 8 pages I read, just to see how much HILARITY this can produce.....I should borrow it from the library , my money is worth too much to be spent on crap. Nevermind Teenage girls and tweens, I seen twenty something coillege girls raving on and on about this book -including my gf and best friend-, I should show it to her.

In order for the film to be "Accepted" it needs to not suck. The premise of the films sucks, the novels that it is based upon are the worst sort of emo vampire tripe imaginable.
The premise doesn't suck. Just look at True Blood for "vampire loves moral" that doesn't suck. Twlight sucks in its execution and the fact its very poorly written.
I kind of actually agree with this. Not saying that you need to see the movie, or even read the book, just please say your opinion in a proper way. To put it simply, think about what it would be like to see other people talking about Transformers like you're talking about this. Specifically whatever part of Transformers history you like so much you can't see any flaws in it.
I m sorta fond of queen of the damned for some reason-yes I liked though movie too but I had not read the book when I watched it so I liked it juts what it is a vampire movie. so yeah premise is not whats bad or broken, its the source of the movie that's broken....Its possibly the most awesome unintentional comedy I have EVER Read.-and I only read 20 pages before I tough enough was enough. there is flaws in everything after all, nothing is flawless as much as we wish it to be. I doubt Ill ever see what twiligth fanatics see in it...
Last night I asked a couple friends of mine about this series, and they proceded to tell me at length about all the horrible things to be found within these pages. About how there's no character, it's mostly fluff, etc. As a writer, the Twlight series offends me. Offends me to my very core.
We get Emo-pretty people only exist-and only the pretty can be monsters crap like this or The Covenenant. "Fat White Vampire Blues" has it all- love (but a good kind that is practical) and real, REAL characters. I know the studio is aiming for the gothy, post Miley crowd, but gawd, do we have to insult them with poor writing? heck. where is anita blake when ya need her????
