I've been thinking about this subject for a bit now and I'm curious-

IS there any difference between the Wii and Gamecube versions of "Twilight Princess," besides controls?

The entire game world was mirrored in the Wii version so Link becomes right handed to better use the Wiimote to swing. So it's kinda like the extra adventure from the original Legend of Zelda.

The whole game is flipped where what is east in the GC version is west in the Wii version.

ooooh so maybe I'll buy it after I beat the cube one. I'm looking for a copy of Wind Waker again. I wish the wii could save internally on Cube games. My memory cards are OLD.

Ok, the flipping is a bit unexpected but I could live with that.

Anything else changed? Story/details left out in one or the other???

Nope. Identical. They just ported it over and flipped it around to change the hand Link holds his sword in. All that changed in dialogue was switching East and West everywhere.

I still need to finish this game. I got up to the
    Temple in the Sky
and for some reason I just got bored with it.

you forgot to mention the Wii version supports Progressive Scan, whereas the GC version does not.

I'm pretty much at the end of the game. Quit playing for some reason, and haven't gone back. Now, I have so much to play, I don't know when I'll finish it.

Wii version has a slightly better framerate, supports progressive scan, and Midna's creepy laugh comes from the Wiimote speaker.
