Hi all I thought that this might help some of you out who find that you are losing fingers from your MP Hands (fakebuskers Masterpiece Seeker hands from Shapeways).

I think that photos work better than words so I will try and let them explain how.

1st thing the tools needed for the job.

2nd thing I do is mark the dimples so that I can see where to drill.

3rd thing is to choose your drill bit. I tend to pick one that is slightly smaller than the pin that I am going to use.

4th let the drill bit do the work. I find that a slow speed will guide the bit through the dimples rather than you pushing the bit through the hand.

5th put all the fingers on and make sure they move freely.

6th place the fingers in the closed position.

7th drill through the dimples and holes that you drilled in step 4

8th put the pin through the hand and make sure that the fingers still open and close.

9th drill through the dimples on both sides of the fingers NOTE drill from both sides not straight through.

10th now put the fingertip in to place and close it up and drill through slowly.

11th after testing the finger you can put a very small amount of glue on the pin end and then pull it just into place.

12th once the glue has set you can now cut the pin down

13th Now you need to mark where the hole will be for the thumb.
I mark it half way through the thumb as shown.

14th after testing the thumb add the glue same as before

    . . . . and cut the pin

    That’s it. Thanks for looking!

(Note: It's worth noting that if you have a set of hands that are able to accommodate this kind of modification, you can use this method, whether or not they're the exact hands mentioned in this tutorial. RotF voyager Starscream, for example, can handle this modification. ~Superquad7)

Add in line Photo Attachments, then done.
