Hot Shot is (loosely) based off of This guy's (Vance's) car.

I might be over analyzing, but there is proof.

I don't see it. Literally the only thing they have in common are flame patterns, which aren't even the same.

During the daytime, the car's color is a dark metallic blue. I'll try to get a good image, but it's hard.

    EDIT:

    See?

I'm going to say no. Not even close.

Good find, though. And sadly, I think Vance's flame deco beats the living shit out of the PRiD Hot Shot's.

Just because two cars go fast and have flames doesn't mean they are the same. Hot Shot lacks the back flames, the lower set of tail lights, the spoiler, the second set of tailpipes, and the colored rims, not to mention that it looks to be a VERY different shade of blue, although I still think Vince's car is dark grey/black. The grill and headlights are off, too.

PRID Hot Shot is based on Cybertron Hot Shot, with Armada Hot Shot's head. Flames were added because they look cool. That's all there is to it.

I donno, I'd like to think that Hot Shot was based off of it loosely.

I'm just throwing out ideas. Sorry though if some don't think the same

Come on, that is the most insupportable statement of all time. Have people even ever watched Cybertron? Cybertron Hot Shot looks NOTHING like this toy. Nothing. In any possible way.

    Plus, Vance's car looks like a t-top.

But Vance's car still looks a million times more like PRiD Hot Shot than Cybertron Hot Shot does.

I still have a few points to it, but it's obviously not 100% accurate. It just was an observation.

And it was a good one, even if it turns out false. I totally forgot about that character.

Well I didn't mean the mold. Have you ever looked at Cybertron Hot Shot's colors?

Imagine those colors applied to Bumblebee.

Throw in a head design based on the Armada Hot Shot.

There you go, it's Prime Hot Shot.

I can see where you're going with it, but it's not quite there.

You mean the very light blue that looks nothing like the deep blue of the PRiD toy? And has no flame deco whatsoever? Those Cybertron Hot Shot colors?

There is zero similarity. It's the worst homage in Transformers history.

At least Vance's car somewhat looks like the toy.

    Exact shade doesn't matter.

Cybertron Hot Shot is blue, red, and yellow.

Prime Hot Shot is blue, red, and yellow.

that is not what a person would call "zero similarity".

To throw in some straws to grasp at, RID Spychanger Hot Shot's the one with flame deco (though not the same, or same color)

Yeah, apparently nothing matters. Different color, different car type, different deco, flames/no flames, nothing. It's a perfect homage that contains no actual elements of Cybertron Hot Shot. You know who else has blue, red, and yellow? Optimus Prime. And the toy doesn't make a good homage to him, either.

Vance's car resembles the PRiD toy more. And yeah, so does RiD Spychanger Hot Shot.

I can kind of see it and i's an interesting idea, they could have gone with black and got the full on RiD homage in but with Vehicon in the wave. I think blue is the better colour.
