    Hey all,

Not much going on with my TF customs atm - working on my first repaint though, which should be up soon, and also some Mosaic projects - but I have been busy with a few other things...

First off is this, a 1:24 Batmobile model I repainted into camo colours as seen in the film 'Batman Begins'

As much as I loved Batman's ride as it appears in the films, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking it just looked baaadass in that camo briefly seen in 'Begins. I'm not sure whether you can buy it in the shops like that or not, but this is my version of it.

I've stuck it on Ebay too, if anybody is interested, the link is in my sig :)

    Ebay:
I was gonna say, but forgot to. Add some dirt on the sides, and on the wheels.

It IS a great looking vehicle. I've always wondered though ... : that front wheel suspension still looks very fragile imo.

on mine or just in general?

No, I see your point. To be honest, its flawed in many aspects. As a military vehicle, why would you expose the front wheels? It wouldn't have the ground clearance to go over harsh terrain (in most combat zones). And you're right about the front wheel assembly, not only is it vulnerable from being exposed, its also going to be more susceptible to breaking, from a physics point of view - the stresses on the uprights from not having a fixed axel would be considerable, especially in a war zone...

...and if those points don't sell it on Ebay, nothing will! :thumbs2:

Are you give it a smoke wash for the diorama or is it gonna blaze through a warzone unscathed ?

About the suspension ; remember that scene in Batman Begins, the tumbler on the rooftops ; it basically broke right through the wall on the edge of the roof ; aside from all the jumping & flying ; those frontwheels would have been looser than loose TF joints irl, right there and then.

More to the point, it would have gone straight through the roof!

*Automated computer voice* Batman, your front axle is screwed. Pull over at the nearest service station and await lucious fox*
*Batman* Where's the service station*(said in a "WHERE'S RACHAEL" voice)
    Looks really good man.
Good job on the cameo paint job. Working with masking tape ain't the easiest thing to do
