That's beautiful man. They should release that along with a Fort Max like yours for the classics line.

Like Redline mentioned, it's just a matter of posing it differently. It was late last night so I didn't have time to play with the poses. I did pose him in the hunched position. See original post. I also included some pics showing that each head can move up and down independent of each other. Finally, I forgot to take pics of the guns in the arms so I included new pics of that as well.

As far as it being dark gray. That is true for the toy, but I was going for the cartoon black. I used this pic as a guide for painting my Trypticon

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I didn't really take enough pics to do a tutorial and it'll be hard to describe all that I did without pics to show. I did take a few WIP pics so here they are (basically in the near finished phase except for paint):

Here are pics of how I accomplished the jaws being able to move (mouth open and close). Basically I turned the elbow joint of Energon Wingsaber to the jaw joint for Trypticon.

I connected the E. Wingsaber parts to E. Barricade using these blocks I made. Some of you may remember these blocks, originally created by Freestyle to make his Wing Maximus.

As for bots used, you got some of it right. I used E. Wingsaber and E. Barricade as the for the bulk of the body, parts of C. Megatron for the chest and rocket booster for the back pack, Energon Grimlocks legs for the arms, Classics Jetfire cannons and his rocket thrust for the Battlecruiser's thrusts. The rest are scratchbuilt (the tail, back pack, runway, launch pad, upper portion of the 2 heads). I think that's it. :D  Yep it's a real Frankenstein approach but there isn't an existing mode out there (transformers or otherwise) that lends well to making a Trypticon like this so I had to be a bit more creative (or mad as Autobot23 pointed out, lol)

I never would've guessed baricade... I knew the "arms" were familiar... I would have figured them out if I actually HAD grimlock! *L* Shame you don't have good pictures of the backpack. I think most of what you did can now be figured out, even with what you have photographed. That's the part that most eludes me now.

Wow!!  This is beyond brilliant, this is madness. I love all 3 modes. I don’t even care that it doesn’t resemble G1. IMO, it’s better than G1, especially the vehicle mode. I don’t think G1 had much of a vehicle mode. The thing that blows my mind is how you got this from all of the parts you said you used to make it. The transformers you mentioned don’t even resemble what you made. I mean, did you sit down with the parts, then said, wow this looks like Trypticon? Anyways, great work.

Well, to be honest, I was just fiddling around with 2 transformers, Barricade and Wingsaber. Both being attached with the blocks. Originally I wanted to make Overlord from it. I figured out the base and vehicle mode. Upon further fiddling I came upon a beast looking mode and thought, "this would make a cool Trypticon". I've been wanting to do a Trypticon but their isn't a mode out there that would suit it. Anyways, I needed to add bulk to it, the back cannons, a pack back, and tail so that's where all the other parts came about.

Redline, the back pack is just attached to the front of Barricade. If you can picture Barricade doing a hand stand (with his legs up), the 2 heads/necks of Trypticon are attached to the legs of Barricade, the 2 legs attached to the arms, the Megatron cockpit (Trypticon's chest) attached to the back of Barricade, and the backpack attached to the front. The 2 cannons are attached to where Wingsaber's big red fists use to be. The tail is attached to where the cab of Barricade use to be. There are 2 minicon ports (I think that's what they are) on the knees of Barricade (1 on each knee). That's where Trypticon's arms are attached.

Here's a closer pic of the packback. There is a cavern in the middle of the backpack. That's where the tail sits in when in Battlecruiser mode.
