i have decide to order another one of the sound boards and this time im going to put it in the year of the snake omega supreme!!!!!
That's aces! Plenty of room to put one in there too. Might follow your lead and do this for my TR Max or Gen Metro.
Do you have a link to the sound board you ordered? I think of many uses for these. This would be perfect for a 3P to redo his head with lights & sounds.
wait, (looking at ebay listing) this soundboard is already set to go? you just have to load in your sounds and it's finished? (aside from installing it into trypticon that is)
yeah it already built, its just on one big adhesive tape so you can stick it onto a surface. you just need to download the software, and use the software to upload the clips. the sound card gives you the website address where you can download it. the audio clips need to be in .wav 16bit format i think. but you need to disconnect the button and plug it back in just one jumper over. the default way its connected only lets you use one sound, if you want to use multiple sounds you need to disconnect it and reconnect it just one jumper over.
awesome! im totally gonna do this once i get a Trypticon, though i might not put it in his head... i like to be able to close the canon, and ill probably use some of his voice clips from Fall of Cybertron instead of G1
Simple, but very, very cool. You could probably fit two or three soundboards in Trypticon's belly for various transformation and laser sounds. And then have one just for the voice sounds. That would be cool to have the sound bite from the Trypticon commercial when Astrotrain ordering Trypticon to transform.
Update: i created a titan master/brain/speaker button. well it more it just to fill that empty space and to make it be like hey Trypticon has a brain lol. enjoy.
Thanks for posting about the sound board. I have decided to make a tank for my Tryp out of Landmines trailer. I replaced the original board with the one from Bigdawg. I used the original LM battery's and speaker and left a space so the USB is accessible for sound changes. I still need to download Tryp sound but the testing sound worked (testing and 1 to 9 count up). I bought 3 extra boards while buying so I can do this for other figures someday. Tks again Aucard The 3rd
My god, this is f-in brilliant. He totally needed lights and sounds, but I think we would just had some random janitor from Hasbro trying to do a cheap Trypticon voice.
Mine arrived yesterday! After toying around with the set I so wish I'd went ahead and bought a few more. I'm having a blast coming up with different fx and voices for my Fort Max. Got the perfect place to put it too, in the arm cavity in his right arm since it's a carry over from Metroplex that doesn't do anything for Max. Next on the list is Metroplex when I'm done with Max. Thanks!
