Hey, so I've decided to find out a toy I had and lost (sadly) while visiting my relatives in Hong Kong like...17 years ago (1990-1991).

I don't know if it was a Transformer or another toy line from either a Hong Kong or Japanese toy company, but here goes the description.

It was a transforming robot, blue in colour (mostly), and turned into a jet.
It had a face with maybe a gold "V" like Gundams, but I'm quite certain it definitely had a face with a Samurai-like mask, sorta like Optimus Prime's mouthpiece, but resembling more like Aegis Gundam's face.

He was also a combiner, and fused with 2 other robots. I know his legs turned into his arms and his head turned even bigger since he was the top robot (acting as head, shoulders, and arms), with a robot in the middle (chest area), and lastly, an orange drilling robot that became the lower torso and legs.

I'd appreciate if anyone can give me info about this toy that I once enjoyed as a kid or sources to lead me to find it, thanks!

That sounds a lot like a knockoff that surfaced at Big Lots recently. This plane guy you described, did he combine with a racecar guy and a drill tank dude? I think you're talking about... something Kaiser something. I have those three KO's, I've only opened the racecar man so far.

    Wow, knockoffs?

Mind you, these were definitely real toys (not knockoffs) from the earlier '90s. and they were like the size of either a Voyager or an Ultra-class TF toy.

The KO from Big Lots is VERY well done, and goes for about $9.

As for the real deal- check Yahoo Japan auctions.
(I'd say maybe $75 total once everything is said and done, but that's just a rough guess)

I'm sure it's just my bad memory, but the toy doesn't exactly match my memory exactly, or by much at all, haha.

I'm going to post up another 2 stickers possibly from the Brave series that I got as a kid while shopping in the '90s, I believe one is of Green Raker. But I'm sure this series has a lot of info and original art from the series.

Do you have any pictures of the KO's? Maybe it's better just to buy the knockoffs, since they're significantly cheaper.

    Thanks for the link Soundblaster1!

Altho KO's, the jet looks like a sweet colour scheme and reminds me of Ultra Magnus!

Around about the size of a Leader Class Transformer, the individual robots are each somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager in size. He's pretty big, and he's only a support robot to the main hero robot.

    That's a sweet looking KO!

Wow.... this guy is sort of cooler looking than my Silverion KO from Happywell. I mean, obviously the design for Silverion was meant to echo and update the design of GodMax... but there some things I liked better about the original.

Are these Big Lots KO's still in circulation? Are they hard to find online, etc?

Yeah the KO is a nice toy.. the plastic is a bit cheap feeling, but it's still a nice toy. I think each piece cost $3-4 at Big Lots
